Explanation of the Placement Process:

VOR Holdings represents Chinese airlines to provide foreign contract pilots. The Chinese airlines are looking for pilots typically with more than 5,000 hours total time, 3,000 hours as a captain and 500 hours or more PIC in the specific type of aircraft they are using.

Below are the steps required to be considered for placement by VOR Holdings.
• Register by completing a simple online application form: Short Form.
• Complete the detailed application form: Full Form(PDF) OR Full Form (MS Excel). (No need for Short Form if Full Form is submitted)
• After you are contacted with opportunities, you will be asked for the following scans:
    ⁃    Photo page of your passport
     ⁃    Medical
     ⁃    Pilot license
     ⁃    Signed authorization form (will be provided to you)
• Your information will be submitted to the airline that you are qualified for.
• You will receive an invitation to interview
• You will travel to China for the following
     ⁃    CAAC Medical exam
     ⁃    English test (unless you have English Proficient on your license)
     ⁃    Simulator check by the airline
     ⁃    ATPL written exam
     ⁃    Company interview
• If you pass the above tests and are accepted by the airline, you will begin the process of joining the airline (or) you will begin the hiring process.
• Collect the following items:
     ⁃    Pilot license (with no restrictions)
     ⁃    FAA No Accident Record (local notary is acceptable)
     ⁃    No Criminal Record (local notary is acceptable)
     ⁃    FAA Medical
     ⁃    Passport
     ⁃    Logbooks
     ⁃    Photos
•    Return to China to take a simulator check with the CAAC
•    Participate in Company Training and IOE Period
•    Begin to Fly as a Captain
